Marula oil

Marula oil is obtained from the edible seeds of the marula tree. This tree is also known as the "elephant tree", because the gentle pachyderms can't get enough of the fruit. Our skin is similarly affected: the valuable marula oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids such as omega-3, which protect against moisture loss and have a moisturising effect. Despite this property, the oil is not comedogenic. This means that it does not clog pores and thus does not trigger impurities. On the contrary, marula oil can reduce inflammation and redness and provide smoother skin. But not only the skin benefits from the wonderfully soft and supple effect of this oil. As a plant-based and sustainable alternative to silicone, marula oil is responsible for silky-soft textures.
